Organelle formed by the fusion of the Golgi complexes, in an onion stage spermatid. It is located at the apical side of the nucleus, opposite the basal body, in the same area as the acrosomal granule. Together with the acrosomal granule it serves as the site of formation of the acrosome. (Fabian and Brill, 2012, Fuller, 1993)
